NIGHT UNDERWATER POOL PHOTOSHOOT

PREVIOUS / NEXT

UNDERWATER by KRISS on 29 january 2017

So Olga was finally ready, now it must have been 6pm and it was getting pretty dark.
I wished she hadn’t spent so much time preparing because my light meter gave me a reading of ISO6400 (the limit I set on Nikon D800) at 16mm and ISO4000 at 35mm.
Never mind, it was just right because I was in awe when I looked at the raw files just after the shoot.
I think the atmosphere created by the swimming pool lights really made these images stunning.
The least I can say is that it really stands out from anything I have done underwater so far and I freaking love it ! This was realised with a Nikon D800, a Nikon 16-35mm f4 at f4.
Photographs are at 16mm to 20mm, ISO6400, 1/125 sec.
The camera was inside an Aquatech water housing with an 8 inches dome port.
