BANANA FOR 1 MILLION EUROS

PREVIOUS / NEXT

PHOTOGRAPHY by KRISS on 30 january 2016

Following the recent buzz over the photograph of a potato that sold for 1 million euros at an auction, I am presenting my latest work : The banana ! I shot this in my corridor because I couldn’t access a studio for the purpose of that shoot.
Using a couple of head lamps with the assisting help of my son I shot this amazing photo of a banana (technically speaking it is a Peruvian platano).

Now, I am not as famous as the Irish photographer who sold the potato shot but let’s be honest… my banana rocks doesn’t it ?

So as regards to the rich man who can afford 1 million euros pictures of a potato : My banana is on sale any time you want.
I am sure my family would make a great deal out of 1 million euros like shoot many more fruits and vegetables for you sir !

More seriously (though the offer stands right), lately, my google which I check on a daily basis as a source of news, have been feeding me for many days in a raw with various versions of the same stories, namely : The article about ditching the professional photographer at weddings in Vogue magazine, the millionaire who purchased a single shot of a potato for 1 million euros and the couple in India who got their whole wedding covered with an Iphone.

Not that these stories don’t interest me, on the contrary but I am a bit puzzled at news on the photography side lately !
