Following the first take of shots yesterday, I finally moved my tripod and decided to try a long exposure more focused on our model, Sofia.
The light had changed dramatically and everything was shifting fast.
These are the light conditions that require you to adapt and change every couple minutes and this can be annoying especially when you’re unsure what you’re going to do.
I exposed for 10 seconds to get a clean and clear background and froze my model with a rear curtain flash.
She was very still as you can see from the very little movement of her arms and hands.
I deliberately framed following the perfect 2/3 rule only I framed her body as a whole regardless of the eye’s level.
