SALVIA NUTRITION TROPICAROMA REVIEW

TRAVELS by KRISS on 07 march 2017

It’s been over a month since we got back from South East Asia now and I believe the incubation period for most of the nasties we could have brought back with us is over.
So, unless we got infected and remained symptoms free, we can safely say we got a free pass with :

- Hepatitis A.
- Thypoid fever.
- Malaria.
- Dengue fever.
- Chikungunya.
- Zyka virus.
- Any other bacterial or viral infection.

Although Malaria never really was an issue where we traveled, you’re never 100% safe and we got our fair share of mosquitoes bites.
Dengue fever on the other hand is more of a concern and the bites we got (legs, ankles) matched the dengue fever mosquitoes which stings under tables and where it cannot be seen.

As for stomach aches or other food poisoning, we were very careful with the water, never drank anything with ice (by the way make sur you mention no ice anywhere you go or you can bet you’ll get a glass full of ice).
We skipped street food altogether (except for fruits) and applied the rule (if you can’t peel it, boil it or cook it, forget it).

But our little Rose was a lot more care free and she brushed her teeth with water from the tap in Cambodia, spent half the day sucking her thumb, the other half touching every possible dirty surface around her !

We all spent a fantastic time in Asia, none of us got even the slightest stomach upset and none of us got any of the recommended jabs and I am going to tell you why.

- Hepatitis A : A vaccine does exist but Hepatitis A is not a very dangerous virus in the vast majority of cases.
So do you really need to set aside part of you immune system for this virus ? I personally don’t think so and voted against it.

- Typhoid fever : A vaccine foes exist as well but it’s not very reliable (thyphoid fever is a bacteria of the salmonella type) and again, it specialises and weakens part of your immune system.
On the other hand salmonellas are tough shit.
I know that for a fact I got infected with them many years ago and cured myself with strong phenol rich essential oils.

- Dengue, Malaria, etc : There are anti malarial tablets which are more likely to get you sick than the likeliness to get Malaria (at least in city areas in Asia).
The other mosquito born diseases have no other way to be prevented than preventing the mosquito bite.

In all cases, your immune system will be the one making a huge difference between getting sick or staying healthy and how bad it will get if you get sick.
Bear in mind tropical diseases are tough and this article only explains what I chose to do, not what you should do.

So what did I do by the way ? I Purchased a box of Salvia Nutrition TropicAroma which is a blend of 8 essential oils in an oil base.
Some of these oils are very strong (cinnamon oil for instance) and I had no doubt on the effectiveness of the product by its composition.
I also purchased the 8 essential oils of the blend and neutral capsules and made my own capsules.
Should you go that way, bear it mind that it’s not worth it if you’re on your own or just a couple but if there are more people, it’s going to cost a lot less to make the blend yourself, although you have to understand what you are doing.
Don’t worry too much though, neutral capsules such as the ones I got are very thin and sensitive.
If you overdose your mix, they will melt within seconds and you’ll know it was too strong !

This is not what I did and I calculated a mix similar to that of Salvia Nutrition.
My capsules resisted the whole trip and were just fine.
Although I have to admit their capsules are a lot stronger !

We started taking them a couple of days before the trip and kept taking them a good 10 days after we came back.
I can only highly recommend these !
