TESTING THE SIGMA 85MM F1 4 Oh my favorite lens ! I love it love it love it.
End of this post - no I'm joking I actually have some more to say about this lens.

This is a big chunk 77mm diameter fat lens that looks big on any standard camera body, even on a Nikon D4s.
It is not to heavy and this is like !

It is a fast focusing lens (as long as you have some contrast) even in low light situations.
I usually focus with one of the middle points and re-compose holding AF, this is the fastest way to work with this lens (and most lenses actually).

Bokeh is what you aim at when you buy such a lens and it does produce a very smooth creamy bokeh, from f2 backwards.
It is an excellent lens for portraiture, boudoirs, mode, and basically getting any human being or animal looking great even with the worse backgrounds and environments.

To my experience, very broad as it is the lens I used to use the most (now on the 70-200mm for some reason), it does not flare easy in the sun but photos can loose a lot of sharpness when against the light, and not in a good way.

I am sure there are so many things to say about this lens but I'll leave it at that for today and will just share a few smoothies from this gem.
